Column A : Comments on MLP primary activities.
Columns B and C : Year and Month in the life of the project.
Column D : Monthly capital expenditures in thousands.
Column G : Software. Expect to buy 4 seats of Pro/Engineer CAD software at $30,000 per seat.
Column J : Shop tools like a drill press, shear, metal bender or brake, and band saw.
Column L : Advanced Composites, in San Antonio , estimates $200,000 for mold tooling for a conventional car. The SRC has more surfaces, so I increased this to $300,000.
Column O : Other car parts are projected to cost $40,000 per car. This includes off the shelf parts like batteries, motor, engine, controller etc. Also includes custom machined and welded parts such as suspension arms, steering linkage etc.
